The Civil War will be presented at Ford's Theatre in Washington D.C. as part of their grand re-opening season and the bicentennial celebrations of Lincoln's birth. Auditions are currently taking place, and casting hasn't been announced yet. Jeff Calhoun will direct. This is going to be one to watch. Details are up at FrankWildhorn.com

Songs from TCW will be presented, along with several other things, at the Open House at the theatre on February 16th.

The cast for this production has been announced. Michael Lanning is back as the Northern Captain. Jarrod Emick is in it (I'm pretty sure he's our Southern Captain, but haven't gotten that completely confirmed yet). Hal Holbrook's voice will be heard, pre-recorded, as Abraham Lincoln.
