For those in the Houston area, the Masquerade Theatre will staged The Scarlet
Pimpernel Feb. 15-24 at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts. The Masquerade Theatre is a local theatre that specializes in musicals. Luther Chakurian will star as the Pimpernel. He also performed the lead in the Masquerade's production of Jekyll & Hyde. He may not be what one would call
a matinee idol, but he does have a fabulous voice and can handle Wildhorn songs.

Let's hope Luther is a wonderful Sir Percy. If he can do a great performance doing Jekyll and Hyde, then he should be able to handle the songs in "The Scarlet Pimpernel".
