Title: Carlos Marín

Has anyone else heard Carlos Marín's recorded demo tracks for the Jekyll & Hyde Spain production? The guy is amazing-- one of my favorites next to Warlow. Like Warlow, he never actually played the role though to the best of my knowledge :-(

In any case, here's an mp3 of This Is The Moment (Es El Moment) that he recorded if anyone is interested in hearing him:

Also, the Spanish lyrics are perfect for this song in my opinion. More pleasing on the ear than the English ones even.

Hi

I'm a big fan of his voice too.
Actually it all started for me when I became an Il Divo fan of which Carlos is a member. Since then I've been looking for info, video and audio from Carlos 'pre-Il Divo' because I love his voice so much.
So far I've already found quite a few things:
- La Bella y La Bestia (Beauty and the Beast) - audio and video
- Jekyll y Hyde - audio (demo recording)
- Los Miserables - audio and video
- Peter Pan - audio
- La Cenicienta (Cinderella) - audio
- La Verbena De La Paloma (zarzuela) - video
- El Hombre De La Mancha (Man of La Mancha) - audio
- La Capricciosa Corretta (zarzuela) - audio
I even found some audio from when he was only 8 years old. He sang in Dutch then as 'Carlito de kleine Caruso', which in English means 'Carlito the little Caruso'. Even at such a young age he already had an amazing voice.

You are correct about Jekyll & Hyde, Carlos never actually played the role of Jekyll/Hyde, he only recorded this demo recording together with Geraldine Larrosa, who is now his wife, and Gemma Castaño.

On Geraldine Larrosa's website you can also hear a part of the song 'Phantom Of The Opera' which Geraldine sang together with Carlos. I think it's from when they were both a part of 'Memory from Hollywood to Broadway'. So far I have not found any other audio or video from that musical.

Sincerely
Lindsay

He May Be an Old man But his voice is still pretty good when you think about how old he is.

Yes, Raphael has a fine voice, but compaired to Carlos Marin, well. He just doesn't compare even.
