I recently recieved the Taboo OBCR (Not the West End OCR) in a trade and I love it a little too much.
I've always kind of loved Boy George and the Culture Club and I know all about Leigh Bowery from documentaries and stuff and how he influenced the London and later NYC club scenes... so I suppose I kind of "get it" in context.
Anyway, like I said, I love this show a little TOO much.
Anyone have anything clever to say about it? Love it, hate it? I know there are lots of fans of flop musicals on here ;-)
Well I have never wanted to see Taboo, so I haven't seen it, nor do I care to ever see it. :D
Just so not my taste. I thought I should say something, since no one else has responded to you e-mail.
I know absolutely nothing about this musical - though it does intrigue me. When was it on? West End & Broadway?

It was on broadway from November 2003-Feb. 2004. Ironically enough it was staged at the PLYMOUTH theatre. I have no idea how long it ran in London, but it was there first... I wish they had a database for West End shows the way they have one for Broadway (ibdb.com is genius although not always correct).
