Oh, this is a tough one. For the grim and gritty Madame Guillotine has my vote, but for absolute favorite it's probably Into the Fire.

I thought your favorite Wildhorn song was that one from Dracula... umm... it was called "One More Lonely Night" and I am quite fond of it myself.

As for Pimpernel Songs... "Into the Fire".

I love the Scarlet Pimpernel. In fact it was the music that got me first. I got the CD and then saw the production. And I loved the production.

This is really difficult. My sentimental favorite is She Was There. I don't know if I can choose a favorite Pimpernel song, however. I like different songs for different reasons. I love You're My Home. That would be pretty near top of the list. I also loved Rachel's version of When I Look At You.

I'm revisiting this thread because "Only Love" is still my favourite song from this score. I'm trying to imagine what it would be like in "Rudolf". It's sung before the ending. Picture the lovers killing themselves after they sing this song *chills*

My favorite song has to be my award winning song 'When I look at You'. I've won scholarships with it, awards, made it into my college of choice, and won enough musical financial aid to go to that school.

It also made my 'rock heart' music teacher cry. that hasn't happened in like years! :D

Chauvelin gets some of the coolest songs of any male character in any show (imo). :D And I love that in the new, post-OBC stagings, they give him a pretty big role in "Madame Guillotine" as well. He's quickly jumped ahead of Inspector Javert from Les Misérables on my list of "dream roles."

Hmm the only songs I'm not that fond of im Pimpernel are the sentimental ones...I get very bored by them. I basicly love all Chauvelin songs and all the comic ones, but my favourite of all must be "Madame Guillotine", the OBC version. It just...shimmer so :lol:

(by the way...Falcon in the Dive...I would really love a version that actually incorporated the sound of the soldiers marching wille Chaulevin sings, because it gives a powerfull touch to it)
