Title: Who would you rather see Marguerite with?
Description: And why?

MadameAngel - January 15, 2007 05:50 PM (GMT)
I've found that this topic is an interesting one. Would you rather see dear Margot with Percy or Chauvelin, and why?

Personally I'd rather see her with Chauvelin. He loved her first, and she loved him. Then Percy comes along and she just drops Chauvelin for him. Plus I have a soft spot for Chauvelin. I always have.

EDIT: I've accidentally posted this in the wrong forum, could someone move it please? Thank you.

Moved :)

Thank you! *worships* We are not worthy!

wow, this is confusing, um lets see. Well I personally think as well, that she should be with Chauvelin I don't know why but I just do. but then theirs Percy. Percy and Margot are great together. but still Chavelin and Margot were together first so, yea, I shall say that Margot and Chauvlin are better off together! sry Percy lol

Lizhonig - January 15, 2007 10:37 PM (GMT)
Oh, Percy. She definitely belongs with Percy. There's something intriguing about Chauvelin but after having read the first book, it's clear that Marguerite and Percy are meant for each other. :D

M.Chauvelin - January 16, 2007 01:45 AM (GMT)
I agree with you, she just needs to be with percy for a lot of reasons such as:

1. he's rich
2. he's a hero

And

3. He's so much nicer than Chauvelin! (haha)

and about chauvelin:

1. Evil
2. evil
and 3. Evil!!! oh, and he likes French Revolutions!! hehe, I just love his character, I don't know why

Benniek - January 16, 2007 03:20 PM (GMT)
Will Marquerite should be with Percy. I have read a few of the books and she needs to be with Percy.

:D

EstelleChauvelin - January 16, 2007 03:24 PM (GMT)
Marguerite and Percy are perfect for each other. That doesn't mean I don't like Chauvelin more, but Marguerite belongs with Percy.

MadameAngel - January 16, 2007 06:32 PM (GMT)
Just a little note here. I'm mostly referring to Frank Wildhorn's musical, as that's what this forum is about. Also, I've never read the books. I mean to, but I haven't gotten around to it.

Anyway, just thought I'd clear that up.

Benniek - January 17, 2007 02:40 PM (GMT)
Based on the musical production I still say Marguerite and Percy. LOL Since you haven't read any of the books, I can understand why you might want her with Chauvelin.

They made Chauvelin much nicer (I think) in the production then in the books.

I know a few people that think she should be with Chauvelin instead of Percy, but then it is based on who you like more... and of course I like Percy. LOL :P

MadameAngel - January 17, 2007 07:26 PM (GMT)
And I like Chauvelin. I have read nearly all of one of the books, but Chauvelin wasn't in it at all. And I like musicals better anyway. Except Wicked, but that's off topic.

Juggler - January 18, 2007 03:10 PM (GMT)
If the choice is Percy or Chauvelin, I'm going to side with the "Percys" on this one. While she was with Chauvelin first, she left him of her own will and no longer agreed with his beliefs.

But here's a twist... what other character (I'll stick to the musical) should she end up with if, say, something happened to both Percy and Chauvelin and she was left alone? Can anyone else see Dewhurst taking her in and supporting her... maybe even the two of them leading the League together to keep up the fight and avenge what was done to Percy?

Lizhonig - January 19, 2007 12:56 AM (GMT)
This is interesting. I never even thought of that but now that you mention it, Dewhurst would be the obvious choice to help Marguerite if she needed him. He certainly was Percy's right hand man, so to speak.

MadameAngel - January 19, 2007 03:01 AM (GMT)
I think Dewhurst would be good. His name's Andrew, isn't it? Oh, no, it's Tony. I like Tony. Yes, he's good.

M.Chauvelin - January 19, 2007 12:06 PM (GMT)
Dewhursts first name is Anthony (I think) I don't remember, Lord Anthony Dewhurst. Yea, Its Anthony!! He'd take care of her well, if anything happens to Chauvlein or Percy. Hey! what about her brother Armand?

MadameAngel - January 19, 2007 01:33 PM (GMT)
Yea, but he sometimes goes by Tony. I think Armand would take care of her, but to love, she'd choose Tony.

Benniek - January 19, 2007 02:58 PM (GMT)
That was an interesting question. I am totally on board with Marguerite ending up with Tony.....

M.Chauvelin - January 19, 2007 10:22 PM (GMT)
I didn't know that Anthonys name is really Tony -folds arms- no one told my that until now. Why would she end up with him? What would happen to Percy or Chauvelin? Just curious

Lady Blakeney - January 19, 2007 11:01 PM (GMT)
Percy, of course!

If she doesn't want him, I'll gladly take him off her hands.

Tony is a nickname for Anthony, actually. That's why we call him Tony. It's just if perhaps Percy and Chauvie killed each other, who would she go with? Of course, if she doesn't want Chauvelin, and she obviously doesn't, the fool, I'll be glad to have him.

M.Chauvelin - January 20, 2007 12:45 AM (GMT)
Well, that will be kinda intresting to see percy and chauvlin kill each other, yet somehow odd. They hate each other. Margot is off with Percy. Ahh, I spelt Chauvlins name wrong. awe well who cares. I like it that way

Chauvelin. there we go, now its fixed!

If your basing this on Wildhorn's SP...just listen to the dialouge between Marguarette and Chaulvin. Throughout the show it's obvious that he was never "in love" with her. She and he had a passionate affair that lasted through her wild days.

He tries to use this as blackmail against her and when he came to her again, tries to seduce her because he's a control freak with the hots for her. And she should go with him for what reason...to be his little bed warmer? He was ready to chop off her head in a heart beat. What a cad!

She's way too smart for that. Besides, she's in love with Percy. LOL!

Lizhonig - January 21, 2007 03:11 PM (GMT)
Yep, that's the story alright. I don't care how sexy a guy is, if he's blackmailing me and trying to kill everyone I love, he can forget it.
