Those of you on the mailing lists probably know that I do a mid-month update on the productions of Frank's shows coming up in the following month. With this board now running, I'll put those posts here as well and simply add another post to this same thread each month.

If you think I have forgotten to list a production or event, please check the following things:

• First, be sure the event is taking place within the month for which I am doing updates. My usual format is to include only the listings for the next month, not "between now and the next month." So for example, posting now on 15 July I won't mention productions between now and 31 July unless they also cross into August.
• For productions of Jekyll, check the Stagings list on the J&H website. If you know of a staging that isn't listed there, please Submit the Details.
• For productions of Pimpernel, check the Productions list on the SP website. If you know of a production that isn't listed there, please Submit the Details.
• For productions of other shows and other events, check the Calendar section on Frank's website. If you know of something that isn't listed there, please Contact me with the details.
• Also note that I don't plan to make continuous updates to this thread. It is a once-a-month thing, accurate at the time of posting. If I learn about an August production after posting the monthly update now on 15 July, then I don't plan to go back and add it.

Okay, kicking things off with the August 2005 Report.

NEWS FLASH: The world premiere production of Waiting For The Moon (formerly titled Scott & Zelda) begins this weekend. Previews begin 17 July (the first preview on the 16th has been cancelled). The show officiall opens 20 July and runs through 31 July.*

Also, I just learned that there is a production currently under way (it opened last Thursday) in Geissen, Germany. It's presented by the Kelley Theatre Musical Group, and runs through 31 Sept.

The Village Players in Birgimgham, MI, 9-25 Sept.

Dracula, The Musical will begin its second season of performances at the Stadttheater in St. Gallen, Switzerland on 13 September. Dates are announced through 2 January 2006. The only cast change that I'm aware of is that Nicole Sieger will be taking over the role of Lucy.

And finally, September will bring us the new Frank Wildhorn & Friends concert (also called "The Music of Frank Wildhorn"). Frank will perform work from throughout his career, accompanying Rob Evan, Kate Shindle, Michael Lanning and Tracy Miller on stage. Performances are 5, 12 and 19 Sept. at Joe's Pub in Manhattan, and 23 and 24 Sept. at the Lenape Regional Performing Arts Center in Marlton, NJ. The stop in Jacksonville, FL on 7 Jan has unfortunately been cancelled, with no replacement date announced at this time.

The Scarlet Pimpernel will continue its fourth season at the Opernhaus Halle in Halle, Germany, with a performance on 6 January.

A special adaptation of The Civil War will be presented by Pittsburgh Musicals in Pittsburgh, PA, USA. The Civil War Experience is an abridged presentation of the show, about 50 minutes long, with a specially-created multimedia element. The first performance is 24 January at 10:00 AM, with a possible evening performance the same day, depending on interest. There will also be performances in February and May.

Dracula, The Musical will be wrapping up its second season of performances at the Stadttheater in St. Gallen, Switzerland on 2 January. I haven't heard anything yet on additional dates for this production, but I'll spread the news as soon as I do.

Jekyll & Hyde: The Concert will be presented at the Burruss Hall Auditorium at Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, Virginia, USA, 30th November 2006.

Jekyll & Hyde will be presented by the UCLU Musical Theatre Society in London, England, 30 Nov - 2 Dec.

The Karlín Musical Theater production of Jekyll is once again running, with performances on 8-10 Dec in Prague, Czech Republic.

The Scarlet Pimpernel will be presented by The Limelight Theatre in Wanneroo, Australia, 23 Nov - 8 Dec.

Rudolf - The Last Kiss will have performances at the Operett Színház in Budapest, Hungary, 12-15 Dec. January and February performance dates for the show have also been announced, and are posted on Frank's site.

And Frank will be one of the featured composers in a concert titled "Christmas in New York", which takes place at the Lyric Theatre in London, England on 10 December.

First and foremost, it's the MUSICAL FESTIVAL GRAZ, which includes a run of Dracula, The Musical from 9 to 25 August (with a preview on the 8th), a master class with Frank on 11 August, and a performance of "Frank Wildhorn & Friends" on 26 August, among other things.

Rudolf - The Last Kiss returns to Szeged, Hungary for open-air performances, 9-12 August. The show will continue in Budapest this fall.
