I don't know if anyone here saw the UK Touring Cast (okay, well I know Tom did :P) but I just wondered what everyone thoughts are about Louise Dearman (Lucy). I thought she was absolutely amazing, well worth the ticket price on her own. She could belt like nobody's business and her voice could be both soft and powerful in turns. She played Lucy very, very well and was a nice relief from Paul Nicholas <_<

I agree, I saw the show in Birmingham, she was fantastic! And I remember when her and Shona Lindsay (Lisa Carew) sang "In his eyes", wow the audience went wild!

She also got the biggest cheer and applause at the curtain call. Paul got a few cheers too surprisingly. Anyway, there is a very nice website about Louise here: http://www.louisedearman.com/ - her new CD is out, and on that site you have a chance to win a copy!

I saw the production at Newcastle & it was fantastic. I had never saw the production before but I LOVE Linda Eder so I was worried whoever was playing the part of Lucy would not do her justice but Loiuse Dearman was amazing! Her voice was so powerful & I believe she made the role of Lucy her own here in the U.K. Shona Linsday & her more than made up for Paul Nicholas's attempt at his role as Jekyll & Hyde. Regards Shaz x
