Welcome one and all to the new home of the Scarlet Pimpernel message board. It's a pleasure to join fans of Jekyll and Hyde and The Civil War as we continue to support Percy and his exploits.

As always, all Pimpernel discussion is encouraged and celebrated: please share thoughts on all three Broadway versions, the national tour, regional productions and all Alumni.
*Please keep the language clean and be courteous and respectful. Please refrain from inappropriate idle gossip, discussion relating to the performers personal lives, and discussion of illegal materials. Onward ho!

Bonjour. I personally dont know the show yet, but im working on it. Just got Jekyll and Hyde and I have 2 different CD's of the show on the way. I heard clips and since its from Wildhorn, I know im going to like it. But could someone give me a little background info on this? Anything similar to the book?

Lizhonig - May 21, 2006 10:30 PM (GMT)
The best place to look for background info is the official website (Scarlet Pimpernel official site). There is a study guide that might help you. If you have any more questions, we can help you out.

Your question just gave me an idea. Check out the brand new Message Board F.A.Q. in the "Policies & Announcements" forum, for details on setting up an Avatar.

Best,

Oooh, frequently asked questions. That's a great idea since I'm still learning the ropes myself.

Thanks, Peter.

Nifty! It looks good.

Jan, Eric and I saw Douglas last night at the Glen Roven I Hate Music benefit. We had a great time. Having heard about The 5,000 Fingers of Dr. T, it was nice to hear some songs from it and the young man singing the boy's part, I believe his name was Noah, is extremely talented and poised. Douglas seemed to have great fun with his songs and he certainly can be a charming villain. It was a delightful evening and hello to Diane and Lady Di, who were also there.

So glad you were able to go to see Douglas perform. Wish I could of been there.

I hope there will be lots of discussion here. This is a sadly overlooked story, and it should get more attention. And the novel should not be confined to the juvenile reader section in bookstores! :o
