So I was in the band shell at school the other day and there was a copy of the soundtrack from the motion picture "Hook" on the computer desk... and when I looked at the booklet, I saw that Leslie Bricusse had written lyrics for it.
And I went and told some of my friends, but they were all like *huhwhat*
Discuss.

google Leslie Bricusse. You will see that this is one talented songwriter! He 's credtied with almost 100 songs. Many were used in major films & musicals.
Here's just a handfull:

Who Can I Turn To and The Candy Man made famous by Sammy Davis, Jr.
Can You Read My Mind ( Superman)
Also songs from Scrooge, Willy Wonka and Dr. Doolittle ( remember the song Doolittle sings to the seal When I look in Your Eyes, yep it's a Bricusse song)

Bricusse wrote all of Scrooge, and he also wrote the song, "Feeling Good". Great Song.
Cuden only contributed to a few songs I believe.

I don't know if it's been mentioned but Leslie Bricusse's involvement with "Hook" dates back to an unproduced stage musical.
