The Asolo also did the second production of Svengali back in '91. It will be good to have B&C playing there.
I'm seeing a first preview date of 12 November, and press opening 19 November. No casting it set yet - they're saying they'll do a "major talent search contest" in April.
Can anyone help? I'm a final year Costume sudent and my project is based on Bonnie and Clyde. I have watched the film directed by Arthur Penn, have done research on the real Bonnie and Clyde and have looked at past and current productions. After find details of Frank Wildhorn's musical production I was intregued at the way it focuses on the families and the relationship of Bonnie and Clyde and not the car chases. I have seen parts of the show from you tube and on line and it looks great. If anyone has seen this production could you possibly give me a breakdown of what happens, I have only been able to find details of the songs from the production and feel that a more detailed summary would be a great help. Hope someone can help with this, I would be very grateful.
