There is a new article online, talking some about the artistic vision for
Havana. It also gives production dates of 2 July through 1 August 2010. I haven't confirmed those dates from any other source yet, and since this is a new production they may be subject to change. There might still be preview performances starting in June (with 2 July as the opening date), or 2 July might be the start of previews, I don't know that either.
The article is here:

I must say I am pretty curious about this new project! I think it has great potential and the music I've heard to it is simply a-m-a-z-i-n-g! :D
Is there a Concept Recording in the works too or...?
I haven't heard anything about a concept recording for this... yet...
Is Havana still going to happen?
I'm not sure what the new plans for Havana might be.
Pasadena Playhouse is shutting down this weekend, at the end of their run of
Camelot. According to
Variety:

| "Havana," the new tuner from Frank Wildhorn and Nilo Cruz, was initially skedded to preem there in June but the show's commercial producers have since parted ways with the theater due to the company's troubles. |
I am checking on this and will post further news as I have it, but I wouldn't expect Havana to play in Pasadena, even if the theater makes a recovery this year. I don't know when new plans will be set or announced.
I'm hearing that things are on hold for Havana for a while now, as they regroup. I'll post anything new whenever I learn it.
