Hey all. I'm brand new here, and would like to say hi. Looking forward to meeting fellow J&H junkies. Also, I'm quite excited about being cast in a local production of the musical as Jekyll/Hyde themselves. True, its the touring version and a small town company, but nevertheless it's something I never thought would happen at this stage of my life. Well, just wanted to share, and welcome any feedback or messages from others that have done this.
Hello mystag, welcome to the boards and congratulations on getting the lead part(s) in the show!
It can be a demanding part. I haven't performed it myself... but my suggestions would be to give it your all, and watch the line so you don't push too hard. And have fun with it! :)
Thanks Juggler. I know I'm vocally ready (actually have perfected two distinct voices in "Confrontation"), now I just have to spend the next two months getting into physical shape. I'll make sure to post links to video of the show's process as they're available. We have a Lucy that's close to Colleen Sexton vocal quality. ;)
