That's what her credit now reads on the website. Check it out.

Lol why! They pretty much fired her (to due lack of experience on a "high profile project"), so I'm guessing they are just using whatever she had before!
They also put a picture of .. Marguerite Derricks on there? Exciting...
But has anyone else noticed that the website looks out of focus/choppy, particularly with the logo? Looked fine last night when there was no Pheobe update, but they edited it and it looks like that now!

Do they like to change ONE thing a day or something? They changed it from "The Mad Hatter's Song" to "The Mad Hatter's Attacks". lol They must be bored!

I do believe the title is now "The Mad Hatter's Attacks" (it was "The Mad Hatter Attack's"). Third time's a charm? :P
Also, I just noticed this on the frontpage:
The world premiere production of Wonderland is funded in part
by the Hillsborough County Board of County Commissioners and the Tourist Development Council.

True, though I bet they would say the same about fans for checking it so frequently ;-)

It's changed again, something's missing in the main credits at the bottom of the page but I can't remember what. And this "composed by..." business has got to go, IMO. I don't understand that at all.
Fantasma da Opera - September 11, 2009 08:02 PM (GMT)
What's the problem with the "composed by" ? It just means the music is composed by Frank...which is basicly the truth...
rockfenris2005 - September 12, 2009 06:20 AM (GMT)
I believe the tradition has always been...
Music by...
Lyrics by...
Book by...
Composed by... is more something you would use in a play or a film.
I have never ever heard of a musical using this credit before.
Fantasma da Opera - September 12, 2009 07:38 PM (GMT)
Perhaps. I've seen both forms being used either the "music by" as the "composed by". Sure it's more film-ish but perhaps the idea is to deliever the message of a new, fresh and inovative musical as oposed to the more "traditional" Musicals by Frank ? ;)
Here in europe for example, "book by" and "lyrics by" it's not that usual. Here normaly it shows "Libretto by" or "Book and Lyrics by" and if the author of the book and lyrics isn't the same they'll appear togheter but not discriminated (was this messy? lol) example:
Sunset Boulevard
Music by
Andrew Lloyd Webber
Libretto/Book and Lyrics by
Don Black and Christopher Hampton
No indication who wrote the lyrics and who wrote the book. It's probably just an esthetic choice. :P
