Title: Production in Springfield, IL

Hi folks,
I've just learned that the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum will reprise their production of The Civil War at the end of July. This was done last year, and will again be an outdoor staging at their Union Square Park. Tickets go on sale 20 April (next Monday).

This is in addition to a separate production planned in Freeport, Illinois in July.

Details on both are available at FrankWildhorn.com

All the best,
Peter

Interesting, I live relatively close to that area. Civil War isn't my favorite of Frank's works, but I'll try to make it out there and see. Springfield has always been huge on anything Lincoln-related, so it doesn't surprise me that they're continuing the production another year. Now all we need is a Barack Obama musical, hah.

Groups that perform Civil War do have a tendency to return to it, I find.

And I'm sure someone will come up with Obama related theater, if they haven't already.
