Title: Highlights from Jekyll & Hyde (1990)

What do you all think of this album? I can't get "Love Has Come Of Age" out of my head and I love some of the arrangements here. "Till You Came Into My Life" is one of my favorite songs from the whole score. I kid you not. It should have been in the show, from Houston to Broadway and beyond. I hope it makes it into The Movie.
I thoroughly enjoy it with the possible exception of Colm Wilkinson. I just felt his performance left a lot to be desired. I would LOVE to hear his Jekyll/cut songs recorded by another singer. I think Chuck should have done the CD instead, but alas.

I thought this album was a little boring.

I thought it was a little diapointing but well what do you expect for one of the early stages of the musical.

Its actually not that bad, but I'm a person who prefers the more exciting songs, Alive, Confronttion, etc.
I also don't really care for Colm Wilkinsom very much.

Indeed, as much as I like Colm Wilkinson he's no Jekyll material at all.
I can't say I love Linda, but I'm used to her, but I would really like to hear "Love Has Come Of Age" sung by someone like Anthony Warlow instead. Still, I don't think either of the songs should get into the movie...The only that could go is "seduction" wich basicly is striping "Sympathy, tenderness" out of its lyrics :P
