(I'm hoping this is the correct place to post information about a new Jekyll & Hyde related show; if not, please do not take offense; just direct me to the proper place. Thank you)

"MRS. HYDE & The Case of the Gaslight Buggerings" will premiere April 2nd, 2009, at Chicago's legendary Athenaeum Theatre, Studio 2. Even & Odd Theatricals creates comical chaos with this gender bending spoof. Dr. Jekyll’s nemesis returns... with a twist. Struggling with the “duality of the sexes”, Jekyll’s potion-drinking lost weekend results in the birth of his feminine side... a lustful Mrs. Hyde! A wave of panic and seduction sweeps 1880’s London as this Victorian Cougar screws parody... and everyone else... in her wake. All handsome young men, all virginal ladies, all catatonic kitty cats... Beware! Can the sexual future of all mankind be saved by one final climax? Written by Duane Scott Cerny. Directed by Mark Contorno.

JEKKIES RULE!!!

Is this supposed to be a stage version of "Dr. Jekyll & Ms. Hyde"?

Jekyllophile - December 31, 2008 12:56 AM (GMT)
No. This is a completely original stage comedy/spoof, set in 1880's
London, based loosely on the characters of Jekyll & Hyde. It has no
relation to the 1995 film version "Dr. Jekyll & Ms. Hyde."
