I'm trying to find a higher resolution of the CD cover for this, but I can't even find the official hitsquad records website (if one exists).

Well until its released its not very likely you'll be able to find it ;)

The bigger I saw is in the VBW site. http://www.musicalvienna.at/produktionen/u.../t7_647/?clip=1

By the way, that link connects to the VBW site were you can listen to a short clip of the upcoming Promo CD wich will be IN ENGLISH. :P

The single is out! I have added direct links to the single in the iTunes store, along with the SOM link, to Frank's website.

Did someone say stocking stuffer? :)

Interesting single. It's a pretty decent pop ballad, but that's about it. Unfortunately, Frank is often stereotyped as a composer of ONLY pop ballads. His stuff lately only furthers that stereotype unfortunately.

It doesn't really bother me. The more he uses the pop style, the more he breaks down the barriers. But that's an argument I've gotten into MANY times over the years.

I wish they wouldn't have decided upon "I Was Born To Love You" as the title. It sounds too much like a Dracula title. To me, "I Was Born For You" would be more fitting.

Indeed. Lots of people got confused by that. But then again, I think the Dracula song official title is "Finale - There's always a tomorrow".

I wished they had picked another song. This one is one of the weaker songs in the show to me but I guess its the one who works best with a pop-ish score.
I just couldn't stand the Dance mix...but I hate dance music :P
Can't wait for the Cast Album wich, judging by the time it took to release the Rebecca one, shall be out around March 2009 :D

They should have released "Only Love". That is one of the most beautiful melodies Frank has ever written.

I was going to write that, but it happens that "Only Love" is a Mary solo and I think they wanted to go with a duett. They could have gone with "Something more" but the english lyrics to that song aren't that brilliant... :P
