The Terms of Service that you agreed to when registering for an account on these boards state that "you will not use this BB to post any material which is knowingly false and/or defamatory ... [or] invasive of a person's privacy."
InvisionFree has additional Terms of Service posted on their website, which forbid "impersonation of any person/entity."
This should be quite clear... it is against the board policy to impersonate anyone else, whether that is a board moderator or administrator, someone who has worked on one of Frank's shows, another fan, or anyone else. Just don't register a username that will mislead others into believing that you are someone else.
For example, don't use the username "Robert Cuccioli" unless you are Robert Cuccioli. (I do realize that some people may have the same name as someone who has worked on one of Frank's shows... if this is true and you aren't the same person that was involved in the show, you may wish to use something else as a username so as to avoid confusion).
Names like "RobertCuccioliFan" are acceptable.
Registering as "Robert", "Rob" or "Bob" is also acceptable, as these are common names. Just don't register as "Bob" and then claim to be Robert Cuccioli, unless you really are.
Using character names from a show ("Hyde", "Lucy", "Utterson") or variations thereof are also acceptable.
Please don't register a name that is almost identical to an existing username on these boards. If there is a "Bob C", don't register "BobC" or "Bob_C". Usernames are registered on a first-come, first-served basis.
Finally, please do not use swears or vulgar words in your usernames.
If your username is considered inappropriate, for any of the reasons mentioned above, you may be contacted by a moderator and your account may be locked until you change your username.
And if anyone suspects that another member is impersonating someone else, please bring it to the attention of the Moderators immediately.
A note for those who have worked on Frank's shows: Many of you who have worked on different productions of Frank's shows have also taken part in the online communities for them. We certainly welcome this here on these boards, and you are free to register and post here. Note that the Member List can be viewed by any member, so if you use a recognizable name, people will be able to figure out that you're here even if you don't post. If you prefer to register with an incognito username and participate in the discussion without revealing who you are, you may certainly do that as well.
